The Team Canada captain was selected fourth overall by the Seattle Kraken in last year's NHL Entry Draft. The 19-year-old scored 71 goals and 89 assists in 121 Ontario Hockey League games with Kingston.

Canada is tied with the United States with two wins apiece in Group A at the women's under-18 world hockey championship. Canada beat host Sweden 4-2 yesterday.

There are no games scheduled today in Sweden. Canada faces the United States for top spot in their group tomorrow.

The Toronto Raptors play the first of two home games against the Charlotte Hornets tonight, with the second game on Thursday.

Toronto is coming off Sunday's 117-105 win over Portland. The Raptors sit 11th in the NBA's Eastern Conference with a 17-and-23 record. The Hornets have lost seven of their last 10 games and are second last in the East.
