A 40-year-old Kenora resident is facing several charges after being busted with cocaine, meth, cash and two weapons in downtown Kenora – after officers witnessed a drug deal.
The OPP say officers witnessed the suspected drug transaction on January 6 during an investigation.
As a result, officers arrested two individuals and seized quantities of cocaine, crystal methamphetamine, hydromorphone tablets and other items used in the sale of drugs. The rough value of the suspected substances is over $600, according to the OPP.
The OPP say 40-year-old Sean Caston of Kenora is facing charges of:
- Possession for the purpose of trafficking – methamphetamine,
- Possession for the purpose of trafficking – cocaine,
- Possession for the purpose of trafficking – hydromorphone,
- Possession of property obtained by crime under $5,000
Caston has been released and is scheduled to appear in Kenora courts on February 16. The other individual, whose name was not released by the OPP, was released unconditionally.
