After coming off a weekend win streak in Winkler, where the Beaver Brae Broncos Boys' hockey team won gold, the Broncos are gearing up to take on the Eagles in Dryden tomorrow. Warm-ups are set for 6:30 with puck drop at 7:30 at the Dryden Memorial Arena.

On the courts, the TA Saints' Girls' Volleyball and Boys' Basketball teams are taking on Pelican Falls today.

Earlier this week, the Dryden Eagles hosted Beaver Brae in Junior Boys Basketball action – winning 32-20. Emmerson Moir had 19 points for DHS. The Broncos Senior Boys took out the Eagles 65-35. In girls’ volleyball action, the Eagles dropped their first game of the season losing 3-1 to BBSS.

In the SIJHL, the Dryden GM Ice Dogs are up against Sioux Lookout tomorrow night at 7:30. Earlier this week, the Ice Dogs took out Kam River 9-5, Red Lake beat Fort Frances 5-4 and continued winning against Wisconsin 3-1.

In Special Olympics Bowling action, Patrick Medicine led the way for the men with 156. Michael Vivian scored 153, Robert King posted 136 and MVP of the night Patrick Beal had an impressive 112.

For the women, Brennon Spencer Gropp had 146. Megan Wheatstone was right behind her with 145, Sabrina Paddison had 127 and MVP of the night Katrina Strong posted 87.
