The Beaver Brae Broncos boys' basketball teams won both their games yesterday against the Fort Frances Muskies.
The Bronco junior boys nipped the Muskies 50-48.
Another close score in the senior game as Beaver Brae got by Fort 44-36.
The Broncos senior girls' volleyball team also won 3 sets to 1, while the junior girls' team suffered the lone loss of the day, dropping the game against the Muskies 2 sets to none.
The Kenora U18 AAA Thistles hit the road this weekend for a western road trip.
The Thistles are in Souris, Manitoba for a pair of games against the Southwest Cougars.
Game one is tomorrow night at 7:30 followed by a Sunday afternoon tilt at 1:00.
The Thistles are eight points behind the Cougars, who go into the game with the 8th and final play-off berth with both teams only having 10 games left in the regular season.
