Altona police have arrested a 25-year-old Altona man for a second time as a months-long drug trafficking investigation has continued. 

The accused was first arrested and charged after police executed a search warrant at his apartment on December 31st. At the time, he was charged with Trafficking Methamphetamine, Trafficking Alprazolam, Possession of Psilocybin, Possession of Codeine, and Possession of Hydromorphone.

The ongoing investigation led police, along with the Regional Support Tactical Team, to execute another warrant on the same apartment, in the southwest area of town, Tuesday night. The same 25-year-old was arrested again, this time for Trafficking Methamphetamine, Possession of Cocaine, Possession of Psilocybin, Possession of Codeine, Possession of Hydromorphone, and Possession of Counterfeit Currency.

He has been detained in custody.
