Bloom Floral in Winkler celebrated its four-year anniversary Friday night by throwing a party, complete with a living art exhibit, at the Winkler Arts and Culture Centre.
Owners Kristina Peters and Madison Schiller assembled three large floral art installations for the celebration, calling the event,' Blooming Still Life' - with the theme 'Music Box."
The evening also included food prepared and served by George's Catering, music by cellist Melanie Shwarz-Peters, and mingling among the living art.
Schiller says the past four years have definitely been an adventure, adding she could not have gotten this far without her business partner, Kristina Peters.
"We've been through a lot, and work through a lot, and with COVID and everything, that definitely made us use our creative juices even more than just floral design. But yeah, it's been an amazing experience and I'm just so grateful for our community here and our customers. We have such a good relationship with them and I feel like they're friends at this point."
