Elsie Ruth Harrison at the age of 95 went home to Jesus peacefully on May 24, 2023. Elsie was born on Oct 7, 1927, to Robert and Emma Lightle in the Brownlee District, SK. Survived by her Son Vernon Harrison (Kathleen), her daughter Violet Beaudry (Michael), her Grandchildren: Adam, Steven, Jenna, Vaughan, Seth; her Great Grand Children: Marcus, Sarah, Avery, Keir, Scarlett, Nikko, Hayden, Ramya, and Titus. She was predeceased by her parents, her sisters: Pearl, Dorothy, Laura, and her husband Garth.
Elsie was born the youngest of four sisters. She married Garth Harrison in 1952 and they lived together in the farmhouse she grew up in. Elsie was known for her crocheting and her keen memory of dates and years. She even wrote a book of her history for her family to pass on her knowledge. When Garth died in 1998, Elsie moved to Moose Jaw, where she was proud to sell her crocheted items, and took up the hobby of walking to keep herself moving. Elsie faithfully attended the Free Methodist Church in Eyebrow and Moose Jaw where she was well known and loved.
Elsie will be laid to rest at Sunset Cemetery in Moose Jaw, there will be a private service with the family.

The family would like to thank the staff at The Bentley in Moose Jaw, and both Iver Main Place and Regency Manor in Central Butte for all the care Elise received through the final years of her life. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Iver Main Place or Regency Manor.
