Portage Firefighters put out two fires Sunday

The Portage Fire Department responded to two wildland fires Sunday afternoon.

Two units responded to the first call just south of Portage la Prairie at 2:30 p.m. 

At the same time, another two trucks were sent out to a blaze that was reported on Rd 69N.

Both fires were extinguished in an orderly fashion.
