KLEISINGER
William (Bill) Kleisinger aged 76 years of Regina, SK, passed away on Monday, May 29th, 2023. Bill was born to Andrew and Theresa Kleisinger on October 8th, 1946. Growing up in Regina and following his family’s example, he became an accomplished musician. Playing the saxophone, he toured the province as a member of the Cavaliers. He met his soulmate Agnes in 1967, and they married two years later. Bill worked at Canada Safeway until he retired in Moose Jaw, SK. Throughout his life, he was an avid gardener. His summer and fall produce kept him and Agnes busy as they prepared the harvest. He also made great effort to attract the local wrens and swallows which kept him company in the garden.
Bill was a talented artist and created countless beautiful oil paintings highlighting mountain scenes, prairie landscapes and his favourite, animals in nature. Being a perfectionist with his art, he dedicated hours to each painting to ensure he captured the vision he wanted to share. He is also remembered for his witty sense of humour, pulling pranks on family and friends. Bill’s smile and laughter continued until his final days.
He was predeceased by his parents, Andrew and Theresa; siblings: Ken, Theresa and Jim; and his loving wife of nearly 53 years, Agnes. Left to cherish his memory are special family and friends: his daughters Tracy and Andrea (Trevor); son, Kevin (Tina); and his grandchildren whom he loved - Paige, Austin, Logan, Lucas and Landen.
Bill was dedicated to his family and will be greatly missed.
A Private Family Service will be held with interment taking place at Sunset Cemetery in Moose Jaw, SK. In lieu of flowers, a donation in his memory may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, 510 Sargent Avenue – Unit 3, Winnipeg, MB R3B 1V8.
