The Altona Community Foundation (ACF) has doled out another round of its annual spring grants totaling $24,000.
Through the granting cycle, the ACF continues its legacy of impacting the community through the support it provides to not-for-profit organizations and projects.
The 2023 spring grant recipients are:
Altona Area Family Resource Centre - $1,125 – Training and development.
Altona Minor Baseball - $6,375 – Diamond retrofitting.
Childrens Rehabilitation Foundation - $3,000 – Purchase Tricycle.
Katie Cares - $1,000 – Beanie baby project.
STARS - $2,000 – Human patient simulator.
The Gardens on Tenth – $1,000 – Courtyard chairs.
Trans Canada Trail - $5,250 – Seeding tallgrass on trail.
Kiddie Sunshine Centre - $4,250 - play kitchens.
The mission of the Altona Community Foundation is to enhance the quality of life in Altona, Gretna, Rosenfeld, and the Municipality of Rhineland.
