The Portage Terriers season tickets are available now.

The Dogs had an incredible regular season campaign in 2022-23, and they're hoping to follow it up with another prosperous season, but they will need the support of the local fans to do so. Marketing director Cody Buhler says season ticket holders from previous years won't have a larger hole in their pocket than they're used to.

"It feels like we just wrapped up last year, but we're already starting to make plans for next season. We're going to keep all of the season ticket pricing the same as last year," Buhler explains. "For adults, it's $290. For seniors, it's $225. For teens, it's $165. We actually have some new and exciting things to come for our kids' club. Stay tuned for more on that."

Buhler says fans who purchase their season tickets before August rolls around will get a special season pass with their name and seat location on it.

"All season ticket holders do have an assigned seat, which is theirs all year long. They also get the first rights to that seat for the playoffs," says Buhler. "We also give out some other discounts when you buy a season ticket, including ten per cent off at the Terriers' Store."

He notes Boston Pizza is this year's season ticket sponsor, and anyone who becomes a season ticket holder will get a discount at the restaurant.

While the Terriers have eight 20-year-olds from last season they need to replace, Buhler says they still have many of their top players returning. He believes the team should be very competitive again next year.

"We just had the draft and some of those guys could potentially make the lineup as soon as next season. We've had some good drafts before that," Buhler continues. "We saw Brett Magarell (4th round pick in 2020 draft) making it into the lineup during the playoffs. He's a guy that we're looking forward to taking the next step this season. There's definitely going to be some familiar faces but there will be some new ones as well."

"You can stop by my office to pick up tickets. Tuesday to Thursday from noon until 2 p.m. Those hours are guaranteed but I can also be there by appointment. If you want to do it in person, you can just give me a call. If you do want to buy them online, it's a very simple process."
