Obituary for Dennis Paul Tone
It is with great sadness the family announces the passing of Dennis Paul Tone on June 3rd, 2023, at the age of 81. Born in Regina, Dennis moved with his family in 1949 to Matsqui, BC and spent his growing up years there. He then moved to Edmonton to apprentice as a plumber and spent many years working out of Edmonton in that trade. His children still live in Edmonton and were a very important part of his life. Dennis was incredibly proud of his family. He had a life-long love of horses and in his later years he was an active member of the Wood River Riding Club. He enjoyed all the friends he made there and of course his horse, Sage. When he and Helen settled in Lafleche it was like he had come home, and they spent many happy years living there.
Dennis was predeceased by his parents, Frank and Jean Tone and a sister Colleen.
He will be sadly missed by his wife Helen; daughter Rosemarie, son Vern (Sharon); granddaughter Amanda; great-grandson Mateo; sister Sharon (Ron); nieces Susan and Lisa; nephew Jamie (Debbie); great-nephews Tyler and Kyle; Helen’s daughter Charmaine (Jeff); son Colin; and grandsons Dustin and Tyrus.
Dennis will be deeply missed but remembered forever.
We love you.
A Private family graveside service will take place at a later date.
