Workplace incident on Tsuut'ina Nation leaves one man dead

Tsuut’ina Police, Fire and Rescue and Alberta Health Services were called to a workplace incident on Weaselhead Road on Tsuut’ina Nation Tuesday afternoon. 

In a release, they say Emergency services personnel worked desperately to provide lifesaving aid but unfortunately, the 43-year-old male victim was pronounced deceased at the scene. 

The Tsuut'ina Nation Police Service and Occupational Health Safety Alberta are continuing to investigate the incident. 

They are extending their deepest condolences to the victim's family, friends and co-workers who are affected by this tragic incident.
