Following weeks of moderate temperatures, Portage la Prairie is looking at a sweltering next couple of days before cooling off to end the week.
According to Environment and Climate Change Canada, Portage will hit 31 degrees with the humidex Monday, 40 degrees with humidex Tuesday and 30 plus degrees again on Wednesday.
Thursday and Friday will simmer down, with both days expected to have a high of 24 degrees.
