We're just hours away from seeing some of the biggest names in country music as Country Thunder Alberta kicks off later today.
Jon Pardi, Tim McGraw, Keith Urban, Midland, Hailey Whitters, Jo Dee Messina, Kip Moore, Carly Pearce and Bailey Zimmerman, and so many other amazing artists are set to rock two outdoor stages at Fort Calgary at the three-day festival.
There will be food trucks, vendors, bars, games, prizes and shopping.
Nikki Harris, marketing manager said they're excited for this weekend, but they're already buzzing with excitement with what they're about to announce for 2024.
"We're doing it a bit unconventionally. We usually hold off on any announcements until the fall, but this weekend we are going to give you all three headliners for 2024.It's going to be big. It'll probably be the biggest that we've had for Country Thunder Alberta."
Earlier this summer, Country Thunder Saskatchewan announced that Luke Combs will be headlining its 2024 event.
And the three-day music event is family-friendly said Megan Benoit with Country Thunder Alberta.
"Kids 10 and under get in free with an adult, so bring the kids. We see people of all ages, we see newborn babies, we see seniors. It's a good time for everybody."
