Dolores Eugenia Mueller (née Flory)
August 30, 1928 – August 17, 2023
Dolores Eugenia Mueller passed away in the early morning hours of August 17, 2023. She was just two weeks shy of her 95th birthday. Dolores was the oldest daughter of Eugene and Gertrude Flory and sister to Joyce. She attended elementary school in Humboldt, Saskatchewan and high school at St. Ursuline Academy in Bruno, SK. This is where she met Arnold Mueller who would become her husband for over “70” years! She was one of the best cooks and bakers in the country. Her delicious meals, canning, mile high chiffon cakes and the special “grandma buns” everyone loved. She will be lovingly remembered, but deeply missed by: daughter Yvonne (Gary) Schatz; son Glenn (Carrie) Mueller and family: Jennifer; Ryan (Aimee) and children, Scout and Milly; Joylene Mann and children, Rogan, Merik, and Eberlea; Sandra ( Tom) Engel and family: Kara and her children, Kade, Peyton, Ryder and Joyce; Kimberly (Rick) Dell and their children: Jaxon and Nyla; Vanessa (Mike) Burns and their children, Callie and Benson; and daughter Denise (Mark) Silzer and family: Britany (Colin) Silzer and children, Lexi, Brielle and Braxson; Vanna (Ford) Leggott and children, Harlow and Kipton. She was predeceased by: her husband Arnold; daughter, Yvonne and Sandra; parents Euguene and Gertrude Flory; and sister Joyce Pedley. A private family funeral service was held at Schuler-Lefebvre Funeral Chapel on Thursday August 24, 2023, celebrated by Fr. Colin Roy. Others taking part were: Britney Silzer and Vanna Leggott, scripture readers; Joylene Mann, intentions; and Denise Silzer; eulogist and urn bearer. Interment followed at the St. Augustine Roman Catholic Cemetery. Donations may be sent to St. Mary’s Villa Foundation – New Building Fund (PO Box 1743, Humboldt SK, S0K 2A0).
