College students head back to class next week. With that comes the challenge of students finding housing during their time in Moose Jaw.
For Saskatchewan Polytechnic, the school has a website strictly to help students on the Moose Jaw Campus find off-campus housing.
The Saskatchewan Polytechnic Students’ Association has a free housing registry. Students can browse listings for places looking to rent and landlords can advertise apartments for rent.
The website contains links to several sites that list private rentals including Hello Good Buy and short-term housing.
While there aren’t student residents in Moose Jaw, the University of Regina Housing Services does offer accommodations on the U of R campus in Regina.
Students in Moose Jaw are eligible to apply for housing at the U of R. However, Sask Polytech recommends that students look for housing in Moose Jaw first before applying to avoid the lengthy commute during winter time when road conditions can turn hazardous.
You can apply for housing at the U of R by visiting their website.
