Severe thunderstorm watch issued for Kenora and Dryden

Environment Canada has issued a severe thunderstorm watch for Kenora, Grassy Narrows, Whitedog, Sioux Narrows, Nestor Falls, Morson, Dryden, Vermilion Bay and the surrounding communities.

Meteorologists with Environment Canada say a serve thunderstorm could develop in the region late this afternoon or this evening. The main threats are winds gusts up to 90 km/h, 2 cm hail, and heavy downpours.
