Joshua Bradley Adams made his first court appearance on Wednesday at Moose Jaw Provincial Court since additional charges were laid against him in relation to a home invasion on Sept. 13. 

The case was adjourned to Oct. 17 for Adams’ lawyer to review the Crown’s disclosure. Adams will remain in remand. The Crown is proceeding by indictment on all of the new charges. 

Adams was charged with attempted murder along with Gill Ryan Perrault following a home invasion on Sept. 13 in which the victim was shot in the head and received multiple stab wounds.  

Following the execution of a search warrant by the Moose Jaw Police Service on Sept. 14, Adams was additionally charged with failing to comply with a number a release conditions including abstaining from drugs and alcohol, keeping the peace and being of good behaviour, and prohibited from having firearms or prohibited weapons. 

He is also charged with possession of $6,720 obtained through the proceeds of crime punishable by indictment, possession of cocaine for the purpose of trafficking and possession of fentanyl for the purpose of trafficking.
