Thursday promises to be another memorable night at the Estevan Market Mall.
DiscoverEstevan's Million Dollar Auction will turn several lucky contestants into owners of highly-coveted prizes provided by our sponsors.
Here's what you need to know about the event:
- Registration opens at 6:15 p.m. The auction will begin at 7 p.m. inside the mall by the Sport Chek and Star Gift.
- You are required to bring your auction bucks and be prepared to declare how much auction money you have when you register.
- If you successfully bid on an item, you will immediately have to hand in the auction dollars to pay for it. Auction items are not given out until the end of the event to ensure every successful bidder gets the correct item.
- Winners will have to sign a release form at the end, prior to collecting their prize, agreeing not to sell their prize.
- You must be at least 18 years old to play.
- There will be limited seating available, but a spot is not guaranteed. Priority will be given to people with limited mobility.
- Contestants are allowed to pool their money for a better chance of winning a prize.
Here is a list of the prizes that are up for grabs, in the order they will be auctioned off:
- Leather recliner from Room By Room Furniture
- One year's supply of Royal Canin pet food (up to $1,350 value), from Prairie Animal Health Centre
- $250 gift certificate to Southern Plains Co-op
- $250 gift certificate to V.S. Style Boutique and $30 gift certificate for chocolates and other sweets
- Complete interior/exterior detailing/cleaning valued at $450 from Dun Rite Glass
- Beautyrest GL2 Eurotop Queen Mattress & Serta Motion Air Queen Adjustable Base from The Brick ($2,348 value)
Extra chances to win auction bucks
Our final broadcast where you could spin our wheel of winning to collect auction bucks was Tuesday. But there are six last-minute chances to grab some cash on Thursday.
