Police officers in Selkirk are still scratching their heads when it comes to a robbery that took place in the community last Tuesday.

The RCMP report shows that Selkirk RCMP received an alarm from a business located on Highway 9 in the RM of St. Andrews on October 10, at around 3:30 a.m.

Officers say they attended and found a side door was forcibly opened. When police entered the building, the suspects had already fled the scene. The investigation has determined that at least three suspects arrived at the Roadhouse Bar and Grill in an older grey Chevrolet pickup, believed to be a Silverado. The truck had no plates, and the bed was full of tools to conduct the break-in.

The suspects used tools to access locked items and areas within the business. They were able to get to a locked location where numerous items and an undisclosed amount of cash were stolen.

Manitoba RCMP say the robbery was quick and organized, with the suspects using power tools in their efforts.
