RCMP made a search for a wanted Portage la Prairie man on 10th Street NW. Mateo Roulette, 25, was arrested on October 13, who attempted to evade police by climbing out a window.
A warrant of arrest was issued from Winnipeg for Being Unlawfully at Large and was wanted on a Canada-wide warrant for breaching his statutory release.
When Roulette was searched, 20 grams of methamphetamine, 65 grams of fentanyl, a large sum of cash and other drug paraphernalia were found and seized. Police also confiscated several air guns and ammunition from the room where the man was located.
Mateo Roulette has been charged with:
- Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking x2
- Identity Fraud
- Possession of a Weapon for a Dangerous Purpose x2
- Weapons Possession Contrary to Order x2
- Possession of a Firearm/Prohibited Weapon when knowing Possession Unauthorized
- Possession of Property Obtained by Crime
Roulette was remanded into custody.
