Oak Bluff RCMP searching for suspects involved in a break-in
Manitoba RCMP are actively searching for three suspects that gained entry into a business on Highway 3 near Oak Bluff.
Last Friday, at approximately 11:00 p.m., the suspects arrived in a stolen red Ford F-150, gained entry into the business and stole several items, including power tools, landscaping equipment and a truck.
The stolen truck (a 2006 black Dodge Ram 2500 with a red snowplow on the front) was recovered by police, they are still looking for anyone that may have seen it sometime between April 30 and May 3.
RM of Dufferin declares State of Local Emergency
A state of local emergency has been declared in the R.M. of Dufferin.
The R.M. of Dufferin has been experiencing overland flooding, rising waterway, and voluntary evacuation of some residents of Roseisle, Manitoba. Directly west of Carman there are significant road closures south of PR 245, many residents are dealing with sandbagging efforts.

Portage Diversion to operate over weekend
The province announced Friday that the Red River Floodway has been activated and the Portage Diversion will be operated over the weekend.
Manitoba Transportation and Infrastructure (MTI) says a small amount of flow is being used to flush ice from the Portage Diversion channel in preparation for normal operation expected to begin this weekend. Flows downstream on the Assiniboine River will be limited to 5,000 cubic feet per second (cfs) to prevent ice jamming on the lower Assiniboine River east of Portage la Prairie.
COVID-19 transmission rising in Manitoba but fewer severe outcomes
