"There was a box in the middle of the parking lot that was tipped over, it had cat food there with no animals in it. About 50 feet north of that was a dog tied to a tree by a rope."
'It's just such a privilege': Marika Siewart and Brian Doerksen release new single
Marika Siewert and Brian Doerksen have released a new single.
The pair, who are friends in real life and collaborators as artists, songwriters and filmmakers, first met around 15 years ago.
"We cast Markia in a vocal role for a musical we were writing and then recording all the soundtrack for, and she was just perfect for a role," said Doerksen. "Ever since then, we've tried to come up with a way we can collaborate and make our differences turn into a harmony that made it more than just two individual things."
