A U.S. border patrol intelligence agent recalled Tuesday feeling horrified when he realized a group of migrants from India, including a young child, were out in a freezing blizzard on a stretch of open prairie at the border between Manitoba and Minnesota.
"My heart sank ... because there's more people out there," Daniel Huguley testified at the trial of two accused human smugglers.

Worst of low-pressure weather system over in Manitoba
Western Manitoba received most of the snowfall from the recent low-pressure system with Winnipeg receiving only a dusting of snow.
"With this storm, western Manitoba was set up to get the worst of it," says Shannon Moodie, a meteorologist with Environment and Climate Change Canada. "Heavy snowfall, really gusty winds, blowing snow, and a lot of travel not recommended. For the Red River Valley we stayed more in the warmer air."

let us shout aloud to the Rock of our salvation.
Let us come before him with thanksgiving

The difference
Matthew 5:13-16
Ours is a hell-bound, degenerate world, and you know it. Political corruption abounds. International peace, a splendid ideal, continues to blow up in our faces. The crime rate escalates as domestic violence and gang wars and drug traffic and overcrowded jails continue to plague society. Pending legal cases choke the courts of our land with an endless litany of litigation. And even when cases are finally brought to trial, no courtroom or prison cell can remove madness from minds or hatred from hearts.
