'God bringing revival through youth': Praise event ends with students baptized in pickup truck
Roughly 6,500 university students gathered for a praise and worship event held at the University of Mississippi last week that ended with students getting baptized in the parking lot.
The event was put on by Unite US on October 10 at one of the biggest party schools in the U.S.A.
It was so well-received that afterward in the parking lot, there were baptisms held in the back of a pickup truck with a tarp and water added.
Verse of the Day: October 18

Responsibility
Joel 3:14
One of George Bernard Shaw's statements frequently flashes through my mind: "Liberty means responsibility. That is why most men dread it." In a day when most people pass the buck with merely a shrug, those words bite and sting. It's one thing to sing and dance to liberty's tunes, but it's something else entirely to bear the responsibility for paying the band.

'If He continues to bless it, that’s great': Forrest Frank gives all success back to God
When Forrest Frank originally wrote his chart-topping song, 'Good Day,' he never knew how relevant the message of God's presence and support would be in his own life.

Many churches across Winnipeg and southern Manitoba are acting as collecting stations to have an even bigger impact on getting children these precious presents.
In 2023, Canadians filled more than 425,000 shoeboxes with gifts, school supplies, hygiene products, and a booklet that shares the gospel called The Greatest Gift.
Does AI have a place in the church? Weighing the pros and cons
AI can be a touchy subject, especially when it comes to its place in the church.
Jason Moore author of AI and the Church: A Clear Guide for the Curious and Courageous says AI is neither inherently good nor inherently evil. He says it is a neutral tool capable of achieving remarkable feats when used wisely.
Moore has hands-on experience in the local church, giving him a deep understanding of the concerns ministry leaders and congregants have when introducing new technology such as AI.
Church elder's kindness out of this world
After an astronaut got stuck in space for much longer than expected, two senior citizens from his church received a surprise that was out of this world.
Barry Wilmore, a member and elder of Providence Baptist Church in Pasadena, Texas, recently went to space for what should have been a week-long mission.
In June, Wilmore and fellow astronaut Suni Williams were launched into space as the first humans to ride a Boeing Starliner spacecraft. During the launch, the spacecraft had issues with its thrusters, as well as leaking helium.
