Almost 1,000 people baptized in Tampa Bay, including onlookers

After a dynamic Easter Sunday church service at a Florida football stadium, almost 1,000 people decided to take the plunge two weeks later and get baptized at a local beach. 

"We didn't want a traditional Easter service. We wanted something where we could invite Tampa Bay to be a part of the biggest church service people had ever seen,"  Daryl Black, Associate Pastor of Grace Family Church said in an interview

Hundreds of students baptized during faith event visiting college campuses

Thousands of students gathered outside the University of Tennessee this week to hear the Gospel and praise Jesus.

Unite US, a faith event that aims to share God's word at college campuses across the country has been on the road since last fall 

At the first event, one person felt called to be baptized. Several others followed suit, leading to 200 people giving their lives to Christ that night. 

Brooke Nicholls is coming to Manitoba

Canadian worship leader, Brooke Nicholls is making her way across Canada while making two stops in Manitoba where she is expecting to meet with the Spirit of God. 

"I always love that when we gather to worship, we have this opportunity to encounter Him and meet with Him," Nicholls says. "Whatever is that you need, all of that can be found in the presence of God."

New worship song hopes to bring listeners back to Jesus

Three talented Christian artists have teamed up to release a new song they hope will help draw listeners back to the simplicity of salvation in Jesus Christ.

The new single, 'Back to Jesus,' is a collaboration between, Juno- Award winner K-Anthony, Lloyd Nicks and Alisha Eich. 

"K-Anthony was the bridge that introduced us," said Lloyd." I have been friends with K-Anthony for about two or three years now. We started talking, and instantly we became like brothers. It was like we knew each other for years."

Shine the Light expands services in Dominican Republic after successful gala

The founders of Shine the Light initiative are thrilled after their inaugural gala in Winnipeg was a success, meaning more people will get help through their ministry.

Brent and Wendy Wong run Shine Dental in Winnipeg as well as Shine the Light Initiative in the Dominican Republic (D.R.). Normally the couple and their two sons go out to the D.R. up to five times a year but recently they have been spending the last few months there helping the ministry and home-schooling their children.
