King of Kings had an amazing opening weekend, earning the top domestic opening for a faith-based animated film. 

The film, which shares the story of an imaginative boy who discovers faith through his father's story of Jesus, earned over $19 million at the weekend box office. 

King of Kings scored a 97 on Rotten Tomatoes and PopcornMeter. It also received an A+ CinemaScore.

A young American missionary has allegedly been taken hostage after being abducted at gunpoint during a church service last Thursday.

Josh Sullivan, 34, and his family were working at a church in Motherwell in South Africa when it's alleged six armed men entered the church and kidnapped the pastor. 

"My heart is breaking, please continue to pray for my son, daughter-in-law, grandkids and our family," said Josh's mother, Tonya Rinker. "They found his van abandoned, but Joshua was kidnapped. I know he’s doing God’s work, and I also know he wouldn’t change that."

Corey Lueck has been in music for as long as he can remember and now has a new song out, "Not Finished With Me."

"My dad played the saxophone, my brother plays guitar and bass and my sister plays piano. I actually started as a drummer," Lueck said. "I also loved singing."

Lueck's love for music led Corey and his brother to start a rock band. "At this time, I really was not a Christian. I always believed in God, but I grew up Catholic and I didn't take it seriously."

A year after his death, tributes continue to pour in for TobyMac Diverse City member Gabe Patillo.

Patillo, a multi-talented man who, by age ten, was dancing onstage alongside DC Talk, passed away following a battle with pancreatic cancer in April 2024.

Another American Idol performance, another opportunity to glorify God. 

Breanna Nix took to the stage on Sunday in Hawaii for American Idol's top 24 performances, using the stage as a place to lead worship.

Nix sang Lauren Daigle's "Still Rolling Stones," bringing the crowd to their feet and hands in worship. Even the artist in residence, Jelly Roll, had his hands in the air. 

"That was amazing," said Carrie Underwood. "We joined you in your beautiful moment. That beautiful, big voice just overtook everybody. So much power. So much heart behind it."

Winnipeg Blue Bomber Nick Hallett visited students and staff at Killarney's Lakeside Christian School last week through the Athletes in Action initiative.

#21 Hallett plays defensive back is 6 feet and weighs 195 lbs. He's the player who looks for chances to intercept, quick retrievals for a touchdown sprint, or to bag the quarterback when the opportunity strikes.

From being the Pink Power Ranger to starring in dozens of Hallmark movies, Erin Cahill is in the midst of a 20-year career that includes her latest project, Journey to You. 

"My family said I cried and died for the first 15 years of my career," Cahill said. "Then I fell into Hallmark. For the last eight years, I've been telling stories about love, hope and faith. And so I don't know how I ended up in this magical world, but I'm so grateful."

YouTube star, Cole Labrant recently gave fans an inside look at what happens at his home every day, as two of his children sing praise to God. 

"Posie and Zealand were really feeling the Goodness of God on this one," he said on Instagram. 

Six-year-old Posie and four-year-old Zealand can be seen raising their hands in worship to sing "Goodness of God." 

Labrant said, "We sing this song every day in the car and I love hearing their little worship voices, wrong lyrics and all."
