June 17, 2015, is a day that Chris Singleton will never forget. A day that changed his life forever.

Chris Singleton is a former minor league baseball player drafted by the Chicago Cubs. 

In 2015, Chris lost his mother in a racially motivated mass shooting at Mother Emanuel Church in Charleston, South Carolina. 

Nancy Hicks spent years on stage in Canada and more than a decade at QVC as an on-air spokesperson. She loved her time there but finally sensed God calling her to full-time ministry.

"There were 400 people lined up behind me for my job on QVC," said Nancy. " I loved it, but I knew there were not 400 people lined up behind me to preach God's word."

Every year, Calvin Christian School offers a trip for students to go out and learn about building houses, spreading God's word and growing closer together as classmates.

Calvin Christian School first started their Impact Trips through Amor Missions in 2005, offering it to their grade 11 and 12 students. But since 2009, they have changed it so they do it every year for their grade 11 classes only. 

Throughout his life, T.C. Stallings sensed a spiritual battle from a young age, enduring challenging, life-altering circumstances.

T.C. was desperate to escape the housing projects of Cleveland, where he grew up surrounded by gangs, crime, violence, and drugs. Raised by a single mom, T.C. was one of six children from a different father T.C. did not meet until he was 18.

A well-known and respected Nashville area pastor and author has been put on indefinite leave.

Scott Sauls, who has pastored Christ Presbyterian Church in Nashville for over a decade, apologized via a video, according to Religion News Services (RNS). 

The announcement was made on May 7 at a church meeting, stating that the leave was due to his conduct as a leader. 

Chris Pratt has never shied away from talking about his faith and receiving hate for it, and now he's addressing it.

At a recent Cinema Society screening of his latest movie, "Guardians of the Galaxy Vo. 3," Chris Pratt spoke with Page Six regarding the hate he gets from society because of his beliefs and how it's nothing new.

 If recent world events have taught us anything, it’s that life doesn’t always look the way we want it to look.

Author Mandy Hale says that while we can’t control the curveballs life throws at us, we can control our response to them. We can choose to loosen our grip on what we think life is “supposed” to be and embrace life for exactly what it is–messiness and mayhem and all. We can choose to stubbornly turn toward the sun, even as the storm rages around us.

One of the top five contestants on American Idol is using the show as an outlet to spread God's word.

"I was born to share the love of Jesus. Even though I fail every day, I sin, and I’m not perfect… I would never claim or want to be perfect. I know it is so easy to get trapped in what the world wants of you and lose focus of His word because of what the world wants… but I am here to tell you, it is all going to be okay. God loves us & WE need to share more of Him!" said Megan Danielle in a Facebook post.

Three months after her audition on American Idol, Haven Madison's journey to stardom has come to an end.

"It has been such an honour to perform on that stage and to have bonded with the people that have turned into extended family along the way," said Haven in a post on Facebook.

Growing up, Kia Stephens longed for a true relationship with her father.

"My mother and father met on a cruise ship. It sounds romantic, but it was short-lived, and they got a divorce not too long after they got married," Kia explained.
