I AM THEY says goodbye to female lead vocalist after 7 years

Two days before releasing new music the Christian band I AM THEY announced their lead singer Abbie Parker is leaving the band. 

"Several months ago, Abbie stepped out of the band to pursue new opportunities in her life," says I AM THEY on September 7 on Facebook. 

Parker joined the band in 2015, replacing a former vocalist during the band's first year of touring.

An Inuk man who alleges he was sexually abused by a former Oblate priest in Nunavut when he was 13 years old says meeting the man face to face after nearly three decades was a relief. 

Steve Mapsalak was part of a delegation led by Nunavut Tunngavik Inc., a group representing Nunavut Inuit, that travelled to France last week to seek the extradition of Johannes Rivoire to Canada. The group met with French and Oblate officials, as well as with Rivoire himself.

The lead guitarist of Skillet is getting a little less sleep these days after welcoming a new baby. 

Seth Morrison and his wife Hilary are thrilled to bring home a baby daughter after having difficulty with conceiving over a number of years. 

"We are so happy to announce the birth of our daughter, June Morrison!" says Morrison on Instagram. "Weighing 8Ibs, 2oz and 20” long, we couldn’t be more excited about the new addition to our family!"

Jordan Feliz's hit single, "Beloved" has inspired children's author Jes Woller to release a book by the same name to teach and remind children that they are loved.

In 2015, Feliz wrote the song for his firstborn baby girl, Jolie. This song then caught the attention of Jes Woller and illustrator Hilary Griffith who combined their talents together to write a children's book that is being released today.

The funeral for the late queen took place at Westminster Abbey 10 days after her death and was attended by kings, presidents, and other authorities from around the world, and followed by millions worldwide.

French Oblates begin dismissal proceedings for priest accused of abusing Inuit

The leadership of a Catholic order in France has begun dismissal proceedings against a priest accused of sexually abusing Inuit children in Nunavut. 

A 10-member delegation led by Nunavut Tunnagivik Inc., a group representing Nunavut Inuit, has been in Paris and Lyon this week to seek the extradition of Johannes Rivoire. 

They met with French and Oblate officials and with Rivoire himself to try and persuade him to fly back to Canada on an extra seat they booked on their return flight.
