LaBeouf plays the lead character in a new film called Padre Pio and the Friars. Coming into acting this part, Laboeuf was in desperate need of help.

"The name represents doing a u-turn in my life," says Teah. "We got creative with the name, One8Tea."

He was born in Halifax, Nova Scotia and now lives in Moncton, New Brunswick.

Christian author and pastor Max Lucado is sharing how the Holy Spirit has helped him battle anxiety throughout his recent health struggles.

Roughly a year ago, Lucado made a video post informing people that he was diagnosed with an ascending aortic aneurysm. The medical condition is an abnormal bulging and weakening in an aorta at the point before the curve. If an aortic aneurysm ruptures, it can cause life-threatening bleeding.

50 million people lived in modern slavery in 2021: report

A new report shows that forced labour and forced marriage have risen significantly in the last five years, especially among women and children.

The International Labour Organization (ILO), the International Organization for Migration (IOM) and Walk Free have recently released the Global Estimates of Modern Slavery: Forced Labour and Forced Marriage report.

Researchers collected data between 2017 and 2021 from thousands of questionnaires, including face to face interviews from 68 nationally representative forced labour surveys and 75 forced marriage surveys.

Ministries bringing food to millions in Pakistan after 'devastating' flooding

The Canadian Foodgrains Bank alongside the government and other organizations are stepping up to provide relief for millions affected from intense flood waters in Pakistan. 

"The situation in Pakistan right now is almost indescribable," says Stefan Epp-Koop, the Humanitarian and Nexus Program Manager at Canadian Foodgrains Bank. "We have a flood that has impacted 33 million people and a third of the country is underwater right now. People's livelihoods have been washed away."

According to Epp-Koop, 1,400 people have already died due to the intense amount of flooding. 

Samaritan's Purse Canada Shipping emergency supplies to Pakistan monsoon victims

As millions of people struggle to recover from monsoons that drowned 30 percent of Pakistan, generous Canadians are providing life-saving emergency supplies through Samaritan’s Purse.

The Calgary-based Christian relief organization is shipping four containers of supplies to Pakistan, including more than 5,000 kitchen sets, 5,400 water filters and 10,000 bags of dehydrated vegetable soup mix – which is the equivalent of a million meal servings.

Franklin Graham shares hope of Jesus to over 17,000 in Mongolia

The first-ever 'Festival of Joy' had thousands of Mongolians hearing the gospel this past weekend, delivered by Franklin Graham. 

The Billy Graham Evangelistic Association (BGEA) was in the capital city of Mongolia, Ulaanbaatar, on September 10 and 11. There were 17,300 people in attendance and over 2,000 people made the first time decision to follow Jesus. 

Gospel work persists amid record-breaking Pakistan floods

Meteorologists expect more rain in Pakistan this week, posing a new threat to 668,000 people left homeless by severe seasonal flooding.

Weeks of heavy rains and floods have affected 33 million people; the number of people in makeshift shelters increased by 190,000 since last week. Record-breaking deluges killed at least 1,400 people, washing away roughly $30 billion in housing, farmland, and livestock.
