'God met us there': NFL quarterback on tragedy, healing, and recent miscarriage

Derek Carr, the quarterback for the New Orleans Saints, recently shared his testimony at a Las Vegas Church, and how God is meeting their family during hard seasons of life. 

This past Sunday, Carr was asked to give the message at ChurchLV in Las Vegas, Nevada. 

To begin, Carr addressed rumours saying he did indeed have a shoulder injury and that he and the team are working through it. 

Then he shared what happened to his wife and their four kids while recently on vacation. To start, everyone got quite sick.

Hundreds of young adults are expected to make their way to Calvary Temple this weekend to participate in the third annual Collide Conference. 

Collide Conference is a multi-church conference that helps provide a space for young adults to pursue God and be led to find truth, identity, and purpose in Him.

The conference will feature worship, breakout sessions, speakers and crash courses, including one called Faith & Athletics - Following Jesus in Professional Sports Q&A.

After going viral, Jeremy Camp brings daughters to studio to record

Christian artist Jeremy Camp recently went viral with a video he posted where he and his two daughters sang and harmonized to "Again."

"Thank you all for the encouragement on this song and the reel I posted with my daughters," said Camp on Instagram. "As promised, we are in the studio recording that acoustic version with them!"

The video, filmed in their home initially, has been viewed over 55,000 times on Instagram alone.

God showed up backstage during American Idol, leading to a moment of worship for the entire cast and crew. 

In a video posted on Instagram, contestants and crew can be seen singing "The Blessing," with almost everyone with their hands in the air. 

"Such a special moment backstage," said Riley, who made it to the top 24 before being eliminated. "God WILL get His glory."  

Dozens gather for benefit concert raising thousands in support of Freedom International School

Dozens of people gathered at Freedom International School last week to take in a special concert.

Share the Night featured stories and songs from Howard Jolly, The Rising Above Band and the FIS Dance Ministry Team, with all funds raised supporting the school.

"We had this idea of wanting to find a common space between Manitoba's Indigenous culture and Metis culture and the cultures that are represented within our school, which is a lot of newcomer youth from various countries and cultures," said Cyndi Wiebe, director of communications with Freedom International School.

From jungle to city: Missionaries bring hope to Colombia’s displaced Embera people

An Indigenous group in Colombia known as the Embera people is experiencing the gospel in unique ways thanks to one missionary couple. 

Before moving to Medellín to work with the Embera, missionaries, Travis and Beth Burkhalter, worked in the Amazon jungle. 

The Embera people group were driven from their homeland of Chocó and has been living in poverty and under the rule of drug cartels for a few decades.
