After 25 years of spreading the gospel through song, Hear the Music Ministries is coming to a close.

"After a lot of thought and a lot of prayers and many conversations with folks who have walked alongside me and been part of this ministry for a long, long time, the decision has been made that this will also be the last year of operations for Hear the Music," said Jon Buller in a video statement. 

Dad and 2 kids rescued from raging river, heroes give God credit

A dad from Utah is thrilled to celebrate Father's Day this past weekend after nearly drowning alongside his young sons recently. 

The father and his sons, aged 8 and 10, were floating on an inflatable kayak down the Colorado River on Thursday. Before they knew it, the kayak flipped, sending the three into a raging river. 

Eric Odenthal and his friend Gaar Lausman were in the area and saw the whole thing happen. 

Bible camp counsellors killed in North Dakota car crash

Faith communities in North Dakota are mourning the loss of two young women who were killed in a car crash earlier this week.

In a heartfelt message posted to the Milnor Lutheran Church's Facebook page on June 12, Lay Minister Rick Bryant shared the news with his congregation. The post says that the two young women were volunteers from Red Willow Bible Camp. The collision occurred in Ransom County on June 11, taking the lives of two vibrant young women who had been assisting at the church's Vacation Bible School and staying with Bryant and his wife, Melissa.

Last week, Ziggy, the husband-and-wife duo's youngest son, performed his first-ever solo at school.

"Ziggy has never kept a secret in his life, but somehow he never told us he had a solo in his kindergarten performance, and we were not prepared," said Jodi in a post on social media.

"I'm jumping today for the first time in my life out of an airplane," says Michael Tait, lead singer of Newsboys. "I usually fly in airplanes not jump out of airplanes."

Tait took to the skies to celebrate the release of the song. He did a tandem jump with an instructor who also loves their music. 

Francesca Battistelli announces birth of 7th child

After a series of wild events, Christian artist Francesca Battistelli is introducing the world to her seventh child. 

"I’ve been quiet here because we have been soaking in almost five days with our newest SON!" says Battistelli on Facebook. 

Her seventh child, a boy, is Henry Barrett “Bear” Goodwin, and was born on June 8. 

Anne Wilson's songs reach broad audience, crossing over to mainstream

Anne Wilson is wholly embracing who she is, a country and Christian singer/songwriter.

In April, Wilson released her album Rebel. At the moment, Rebel is No. 1 on Billboard's Top Christian Album chart as well as No. 10 on Billboard's Top Country Album chart.

One of the songs on her album is called 'Songs About Whiskey,' which had some Christian fans worried about the singer.
