Chis Pratt says it's thanks to God that his oldest son Jack is alive today.
Pratt's ex-wife Anna Faris gave birth to Jack prematurely in 2012, and he came into the world weighing just 3 pounds, 10 ounces. It was this experience that brought Pratt closer to God.
"I really made some deals with God, as you do when you're praying, and I felt like if you save my son, I will give you everything, said Pratt in an interview on Fox & Friends.
Pratt said that if his son survived, he would use his platform to spread God's message.
"I'll give you my life. I'll give you my platform. I won't be ashamed to talk to you or talk about you. And he did save my son, and I've been trying to make good on that promise ever since," said Pratt on Fox & Friends.
Jack is now the oldest of four children and thriving as a 13-year-old.
Although Chris split with Jack's mom, Anna in 2017, the two continue to co-parent.
In 2019, Pratt married Katherien Schwarzenegger, whom he met at church. A year later they welcomed their first daughter, Lyla. Shortly after that, in 2022, the pair gave birth to their second daughter, Eloise and in 2024, Pratt and Schwarzenegger welcomed their son, Ford.
To keep his promise true and continue to spread God's message far and wide, Chris recently partnered with the Hallow prayer app, which uses 365 podcasts to get you through the Bible in just one year. The app has also been backed by Mark Wahlberg and The Chosen's Jonathan Roumie.
"It can be really hard to comprehend, to contextualize and to comprehend," said Pratt. "They do a really great job of breaking it into bite-size pieces, reading it to you and then explaining to you what was just read."
The Hallow app gained traction last year at the Super Bowl when they aired a 30-second ad just before halftime.
“If we can reach out to just one person like that — someone in a tough place, someone lost — and help them to begin a journey back to God, then yes, it will have been worth it,” said Alex Jones, co-founder and CEO of Hallow to CNA.
