As a son of an RCMP officer, he moved frequently across Canada. Although he never questioned his faith, he knew God was always there.
“Growing up, I just always had an immense amount of faith, always had that belief that Jesus died for me.”
Coming from a family of musicians that played music all the time, he started playing the piano when he was nine.
“My mom taught me the first level of piano, and then I just kind of took it from there.”

Palestinian farmer discovers 4,500-year-old artifact in field, linking to Old Testament
A farmer in Palestine recently discovered the head of the statue of Anat, an idol of the Canaanites, which is of great historical value.
According to The Christian Post, the limestone statue is about 8 inches tall and carved into the head is a face wearing a serpent as a crown. Anat was an idol of the Canaanites, a group of people God ordered driven out of Israel in the Old Testament.
It is believed to be carved around 2,500 B.C. During a press conference in Gaza, the Hamas-run Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities announced the head’s discovery.

In the USA, May is Mental Health Awareness month. Lake purposefully released this new single at this time to draw more awareness to the effects of mental health.
Lake says this song is "the truest and realist song of this past season for me. I pray that so many people who don’t even know who God is would hear this song and it would encourage them to cry out for help."
