Sudden accident leaves Christian rapper home with concussion

Tedashii is asking for prayers for a speedy recovery as he suffers from an injury to the head.

Earlier this week, the Christian hip hop artist was preparing to go on to the stage for The Unashamed Tour when he suddenly lost his bearings and fell headfirst into a metal pole, resulting in a concussion and several cuts to the injured areas.

Brad Hoefs was a pastor for close to 40 years. During the spring of 1995, in the middle of the highest point of his career, his life took a dramatic turn.

"I had bipolar disorder and did not know it. I was reeling out of control," said Hoefs. "We had just finished the process of relocating the church. I had been the pastor for 10 years, and in that time, we went from 800 to 3000 in worship. It was great, but it was stressing me out. Even good things can cause problems and I was getting sicker."

Jodi King rushed to ER for severe stomach pains

Jodi King from Love and The Outcome is recovering after emergency surgery this morning. 

On Monday evening, King was admitted into the hospital emergency room due to excruciating abdominal pain.

"Please pray for Jodi," says the couple on Instagram. "She’s experiencing excruciating abdominal pain and we are at the ER for a CT scan now."

King posted on her Instagram story that the cause of the abdominal pain was because of a ruptured appendix. She was expected to have surgery early this morning.

"My goal with that Zoom call was to sing for Ron and hopefully be an encouragement to him, but Ron had other plans," says West in a YouTube video. "He spent the entire call encouraging me! Little did Ron know that at that time I was battling some serious discouragement and was pretty depressed about the circumstances around me."

B.C. police probe whether arson attack on home of Ukrainian pastor was a hate crime

The Ukrainian Canadian Congress has called on police in Victoria to investigate an arson attack on the home of a religious leader as a hate crime. 

Gasoline was poured through the mail slot of the family home of Father Yuriy Vyshnevskyy, pastor of the St. Nicholas Ukrainian Catholic Church, the congress said in a statement on Thursday. 

Five people were in the home early Wednesday when the fire broke out.

All made it out alive, although one child was injured and a woman needed to be rescued from a window ledge by fire crews, said Victoria police.
