TobyMac recently opened up in a video interview with 99.1 JOY FM in the U.S, about the grief he feels after his oldest son Truett died at 21-years-old.

The missionaries made the public plea on social media after one of their children suffered a serious injury and needs surgery not available on their island location, and with no flights available for days.

Western powers fear Russian invasion of Ukraine

Since November of last year, Russia has built up nearly 100,000 troops on the border with Ukraine. U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken will visit Ukraine this week amid fears of a Russian invasion.

Throughout January, Russia has shipped dozens of people out of its Kyiv embassy back to Moscow. The U.S. and other Western countries have strongly warned Russia against an invasion as political tensions mount.

There is a new World Watch list of the top 50 countries that see the most Christian persecution in the world. 

In 2021, North Korea took the number one spot for the hardest country to live as a Christian. As of 2022, it takes the number two spot being beaten out by Afghanistan for the country's Islamic oppression from extremists.

Since Open Doors starting their list in 1992, North Korea has been and remained in the number one spot. The reason for the shift was due to Afghanistan’s takeover by the Taliban last August.

Man sentence to life after kidnapping, killing Mennonite Sunday school teacher

Prosecutors say a former U.S. Air Force mechanic showed no remorse for the death of a young woman, saying his hatred towards her faith was a motivator in the homicide.

Sasha Krause, a 27-year-old Mennonite woman, went missing from northwestern New Mexico exactly two years ago Tuesday. She was found dead in a forest clearing, covered in pine needles, five weeks later by a camper near Sunset Crater National Monument in Flagstaff, Arizona. Krause was found facedown, bound, and shot in the head.

Pastor apologizes after video of him rubbing spit on congregant's face for sermon illustration goes viral

A popular pastor says he took things too far when attempting to "make the Word come alive" by rubbing his spit on a man's face during a sermon illustration.

A video from the sermon of Pastor Mike Todd in Tulsa, Okl. quickly went viral on the weekend. The video shows Todd standing on stage next to another man while preaching, talking about how "receiving vision from God, might get nasty." Todd then rubs his spit on the volunteer's face, and congregants can be heard responding in shock.
