India blocks charities, including Mother Teresa's, from accepting foreign donations
India has slammed the door on non-governmental organizations leaving many charities unable to accept foreign donations, including the one started by Mother Teresa.
Some 5,789 NGOs lost FCRA registration this past weekend in the move.

The Christian artist was featured on Mitchell Tenpenny's single 'Bucket List.' While the single was released by the country-pop artist in early 2021, the remixed version was released this past New Year's Eve.

While Tenpenny doesn't fall under the title of Christian artist, his song is filled with his faith in God.

Since the news of Big Daddy Weave's bass player, Jay Weaver's passing, Christian artists have been sharing their thoughts on the type of man he was.
"I had the great pleasure of getting to know Jay on tour… he was a great light and a true heart for Jesus," says Chris Tomlin on Instagram the day of Weaver's passing. "I loved being around him."
Brothers Jay and Mike Weaver were bandmates in the Christian band Big Daddy Weave. Jay passed away on Sunday, January 2, 2022, from COVID-19 complications.

Jay Weaver has died from complications due to COVID-19 his bandmate and brother Mike Weaver says.
The Weaver brother's band, Big Daddy Weave, first took to social media on New Year's Day asking for prayers for Jay and his family as he was in hospital at the time "fighting a tough battle against Covid."
In a video posted on Sunday evening, lead singer Mike Weaver says "I'm so sorry to bring you this news, but I'm also excited to celebrate where he is right now. My brother Jay went to be with Jesus just a couple hours ago."

Pastor Bruce Martin, the lead pastor at Calvary Temple in the Central Park neighbourhood, says parishioners will be spending New Year's Eve praying together at church. Cohorts will visit the church at different times to pray for and with each other.
"We will certainly pray for the individuals that are present, but we will also pray for our country for sure, and the leadership of our country, and pray that we will get through this pandemic," Martin says.
