Shearon Pearson Epps comes from a large family of 18 siblings. Although growing up constantly surrounded by family, she always felt she was alone.

Her mother raised her in the church, but she never felt a part of the church. Later, when her older cousin started a church next door, she stumbled into a spiritual world she never knew existed. It was in this tiny, backwoods church where Shearon Epps found Jesus.

Two Christian music superstars are teaming up to rerelease a favourite tune.

Just before midnight on her 30th birthday, Lauren Daigle surprised fans with an announcement: a collaboration with CeCe Winans.

The two are tight-lipped about how the collaboration came to be, but are sharing Believe For It on their social media accounts.

Christian artist Lecrae is opening up about his own struggles with mental health.

September 10 is World Suicide Prevention Day. 

"I want to talk to you about how I dealt with depression and anxiety. It is a serious topic," says Lecrae on his YouTube channel. 

During his time of severe depression, Lecrae says he tried to find help through other people's experiences online, and he had a hard time finding anything to relate with. He's hoping his video helps people who can relate to his situation.

Timothy Keller has been battling cancer for roughly a year, and just announced the doctors found more. 

"Let me give you a short update in answer to your inquiries of how things are going," Keller posted to Twitter.

Over the summer months, the Christian author and pastor from New York was doing relatively well.

A man is asking for prayers that people would be "hidden from the enemy" as they fight to survive.

Through these conversations with both people he knows and strangers, he is seeing God moving and protecting them.

"God is showing and pouring His presence onto that country right now," Deen says. "

Well-known Christian author and pastor Max Lucado is sharing some health issues he's been battling recently.

"Within the last few weeks, I have been diagnosed with what is called an ascending aortic aneurysm. To be honest, it is a serious issue," Lucado says in a YouTube announcement. 

A Christian Canadian hip-hop/rapper is releasing his new, and relatable single 'Highs and Lows.'

"Creatively, there was a lot that came into it. It developed over a period of time. I wanted to highlight the journey of one's life, specifically a believer's life," says Paul Hernandez, a from B.C.

Another aspect of the inspiration behind Hernandez's single, released August 27, 2021, was coming out of the intense pandemic time. 

A Cuban pastor recently freed from jail is sharing his experience and his prayer requests for the future of Christian ministry in his home country.

Pastor Yéremi Blanco, along with his friend pastor Yarián Sierra, was in prison for 14 days after being detained during the July 11 demonstrations in Cuba.

Their case was finally resolved on Wednesday, September 1, when they were freed without charge, after paying a fine.

A discipleship school that was forced to close its doors due to the pandemic is welcoming students once again and excited to be building up leaders in God's Kingdom.

"Gospel Mission Discipleship School is a school that actually launched a couple of years ago and then last year with COVID and all the craziness going on there, it wasn't able to run, and so we are really, really excited," the director of the school, Bryan Neisteter says.

The school is based out of Gospel Mission Church in Winkler. Neisteter says the location is important.
