Rebecca St. James releases new song featuring her daughters

Rebecca St. James has released a new song that is especially close to her heart because it features a couple of extra special guests. 

The new track, "You Make Everything Beautiful," features her daughters, 7-year-old Imogen and 11-year-old Gemma.

"Wow, is it a tear-jerker!" said Rebecca in a post on Instagram. "It gets me every time, cause their voices represent the innocence of childhood and the loveliness of family."

"Quite the full circle moment," said Rebecca's brothers, Joel and Luke Smallbone. "We’re proud uncles over here."

At 94, Christian educator fulfills God-given dream with doctorate

A 94-year-old university graduate is inspiring students around the world after walking across the stage more than 60 years after first starting her doctoral journey.

Virginia J. Morelock earned her Doctor of Education in Curriculum & Instruction: Elementary Education through Liberty University Online Programs in September. On Friday, she finally celebrated her achievement in person, crossing the stage during Liberty’s 52nd Commencement ceremony in Lynchburg, Va.

“It’s been 63 years since I started,” Morelock said. “It’s very, very exciting.”

Breanna Nix, whose goal is to save souls and sing to the bound and broken, says she gives all the glory to God. 

"I would not be here without salvation," said Nix in a Facebook live Thursday evening. "There have been so many times in my life when the devil taunted me with just being dumb, and I am so thankful that God has his hand on me and has kept me safe."

A new pope has been elected following the death of Pope Francis. White smoke began billowing from the chimney atop the Sistine Chapel on Thursday, signalling the decision by the College of Cardinals.

A large crowd in the thousands erupted into cheers as the words “Habemus Papam” ("We have a pope") rang out in St. Peter's Square, about an hour after the smoke first poured out. The new pope then came out onto the central balcony of St. Peter's Basilica and greeted the crowd.

A close friend of the Nelon family and a member of the Jordan Family Band is in hospital after a kidney stone caused her to develop sepsis.

Heather Rose Jordan, a vocalist of the Christian band, was rushed to the emergency room Wednesday afternoon. Doctors quickly discovered that she had a 5mm kidney stone that they believed was causing a blockage.

A flurry of medical tests showed she had passed the stone. However, a significant infection has now entered her bloodstream.

Brad Arnold, lead singer of the rock band 3 Doors Down, has announced he is battling stage four cancer and is asking fans for their prayers.

In a video shared on the band’s social media channels on Tuesday, Arnold said he had been feeling unwell and sought medical attention. He was diagnosed with clear cell renal carcinoma that has metastasized into his lung.
