A player from the London Knights of the Ontario Hockey League has been suspended after he called an opposing player a 'Mennonite.'

The London Free Press reports that 20-year-old Landon Sim was ejected from a game on Nov. 6 against the Sault Ste. Marie.

Mennonite Collegiate Institute's (MCI) new Principal is well into her first school year in the role.

Londa Backlund joined the faculty in July of this year, and brings an extensive education background including teaching at an independent Christian school in Winnipeg, and her hometown public school in MacGregor.

She has a Master of Arts in Organizational Leadership, alongside her Education degree from U of M with four teachable subjects including English, Math, Psychology and Religion.

Christian artist Brandon Lake is releasing a new single with soulful lyrics and a bit of rock, called "Hard Fought Hallelujah."

Earlier this year in July Lake released the single "That's Who I Praise," which has been well-received by fans. This new song is also a single with no talk on when a new album may be released. 

Lake won three GMA Dove Awards in October for his 2023 album Coat of Many Colors. 

A team of artists continues to work around the clock on a new and exciting model that will be displayed at the Ark Encounter in Kentucky. 

Once complete, the 2,000-sq-ft model of first-century Jerusalem will consist of 5,000 buildings, 15,000 people and thousands of plants at a 1:100 scale. 

Documentary filmmaker Nicholas Ma, son of famous cellist Yo-Yo Ma, has created a documentary that brings together 12 Christian leaders with slightly differing theologies and views on life. 

The new film, Leap of Faith, follows Rev. Michael Gulker as he works to bring unity to a world divided. Gulker's life goal is to bring unity amid differences, including inside the church.
