Three people are facing a long list of charges after Gimli RCMP discovered thousands of dollars worth of stolen property at a property in the RM of Gimli.

“For the second time this month, RCMP officers have recovered tens of thousands of dollars worth of stolen property.”, said Insp. Brent Lemieux, RCMP East District Operations Officer.

Rescue efforts are still underway to find survivors of a devastating roof collapse at a church in Mexico during a baptism service on Sunday afternoon.

Hopeful trends emerge in the Deaf world. On a global scale, “you see more and more sign language interpreters accompanying the announcements [in various settings],” DOOR International’s Rob Myers says.

“Even just having interpreters there brings a lot of awareness that sign language is a need, sort of a visual reminder that Deaf people need access to the same information.”
