Malcolm Goebel says it's nice to be recognized and he's looking forward to the trip.
"I've been in Special Olympics for 39 years now and am going to Toronto in a couple of weeks for this award. It's a national award and it's going to be a good trip."
Gobel is the recipient of the Dr. Frank Hayden Athlete Lifetime Achievement Award, from Special Olympics Canada.

Onion Lake Cree Nation resident sought on Canada-wide warrant
Onion Lake RCMP is requesting the public's assistance in locating 30-year-old Ryan Harper from the Onion Lake Cree Nation, SK wanted on a Canada-wide warrant.
The Onion Lake RCMP issued Harper's arrest warrant due to his involvement in an armed robbery with a firearm on October 10, 2022. There is also an outstanding Canada-wide warrant for his arrest.
Harper is described as 5'6", weighing approximately 154lbs with brown hair and brown eyes.
