John James Hunter
It is with great sadness, our brother, uncle, and friend John James Hunter passed away in Swift Current at the Cypress Regional Hospital at the age of 75 years on Wednesday January 17, 2024. He was born in Vanguard, Saskatchewan on July 19, 1948 to parents Beatrice and Vern Hunter. He went to school in Pambrun and Vanguard. His younger years were spent working with his Dad on the family farm, riding horses, playing hockey, and participating in 4-H. He worked for the RM of Whiska Creek for 35 years and farmed the family farm.

Peter Z. Peters, age 84, of Swift Current formerly of Cadillac and Wymark, passed away suddenly Tuesday, January 16, 2024 at the Heritage Towers in Swift Current, Saskatchewan.
Beulah (Oscar) Patterson
Beulah (Oscar) Patterson (nee Pyett), 96, died in Mesa, Arizona, on January 10, 2024.
Bea was born on December 8, 1927, to Irvine and Mabel Pyett in Minnesota, USA. Bea grew up and went to school in Melfort, Saskatchewan. She married Kelly Oscar of Leinan, Saskatchewan, in 1945.
Ruth Martens
Ruth Martens slept away Sunday, January 7th at the age of 88, soon to be 89 - March 3rd. She went to join her grandson Brennan Luffman (passed at age 24), her parents George and Edith Shaw, her brothers Donny and John and sister Kathleen. She leaves to grieve, her husband of 63 years John Martens, daughter Charlene Pottruff (Rob), son Trevor Martens, granddaughter Shelby Nowell (Holden), grandsons Brody Weyer-Clarke and Bryson Martens and great granddaughter Aramaya Nowell. Rob’s children, Staci Hill (Sean), Justin Pottruff, and great grandchildren Van, Roman, and Gavin.
Phyllis Eben
Eben, Phyllis age 83 years of Swift Current, passed away on January 8, 2024 at the Cypress Regional Hospital. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
Agatha Dyck
Agatha Dyck passed away peacefully at the Cypress Regional Hospital in Swift Current, Sk. on the evening of January 8, 2024 at the age of 93, just a few weeks shy of her 94th birthday. Agatha was born on January 30, 1930 on the family farm near McMahon, Sk. She was the 10th child of 14 children born to Herman and Maria Unger. Agatha spoke fondly of growing up on the farm with all of her brothers and sisters. Many stories of the shenanigans these Unger siblings got into were shared with the younger generations. A closer-knit family would be hard to find.

The Celebration of Life for Mr. Norman Fiddler of Swift Current, Saskatchewan will be held on Saturday, January 13, 2024 at 3:00 P.M. from the Eagles Hall in Swift Current, Saskatchewan.

Mrs. Carol Eloise McCall
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our loving wife, mother, sister, aunt, and daughter, Eloise McCall, who died peacefully, surrounded by husband Gordon, and sons, Sean and Spencer, on the morning of Dec. 31, 2023 at Cypress Regional Hospital, Swift Current. She fought a courageous eight-month battle with cancer and, as with everything she did, left this world with grace, dignity and love in her heart. Her spirit will gently guide us through the darkness of our grief.
Dale Oscar Vossen
Dale Oscar Vossen, born on August 3, 1959, in Regina, SK, passed away unexpectedly on December 27, 2023. A devoted husband, loving father, and cherished grandfather, Dale touched the lives of those around him with his big heart and unwavering love.
He is survived by his wife Kim Vossen, son Evan (Rachel) Vossen, daughter Kelcie Vossen, and his adored grandchildren, Alexis and Connor Vossen. Dale's love and support will forever resonate within his family.
