The family of Dorothy Ann McInnes wish to announce her passing on August 11, 2023 at the Meadows in Swift Current, Saskatchewan at the age of 90 years. She was born September 10, 1932 in Cardston, Alberta to Lily and Irvin Madsen the eldest of three. Her childhood was spent in logging camps where her Dad was the foreman. There she met Jim, who had come to look for work in the sawmill. In 1950 they were married in Val Marie and so began her life on the prairies as a farmer’s wife. They moved off of the farm in 1981 and went to the Morse District. From there they moved to Waldeck, Saska

Messenger, Ila "Pearl" of Swift Current, Saskatchewan passed away at the age of 93 years on August 11, 2023 at The Meadows. George Arthur Rehbein, age 86, of Cabri, and formerly of Central Butte, passed away on July 12, 2023 at the Cypress Regional Hospital in Swift Current. George is survived by his wife Gayle, daughter Cindy Rehbein (Larald Shaw), sons Tobby (Bev Gardner) and Michael. Six grandchildren and two great granddaughters. He was predeceased by parents Ferdinand and Elizabeth Rehbein and in-laws Henry and Agnes Olson. Two brothers Frank and Ernie, Sister Elsie and two foster brothers Warren Baker and Lloyd Morris.
