Mr. Will Hyswick

On Tuesday, October 24, 2023 Mr. Will Hyswick passed away peacefully with family by his side. At Will’s request, a family graveside service will be held, with a celebration of life to take place in the spring of 2024.

The memorial service for Mr. Bob Tangen of Saskatoon, Saskatchewan and formerly of Swift Current, will be held on Thursday, November 2, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. from St. Olaf Lutheran Church with Pastor Patti Sherk officiating.

The interment for Mr. Bob Tangen will take place at Memory Gardens Cemetery in Swift Current, Saskatchewan.

Toney Fraess

The family of Toney Fraess are deeply saddened to announce his passing in Swift Current, Saskatchewan on October 20, 2023 at the age of 94. At Toney’s request a private family service was held. Toney is survived by his wife Lavina; daughters Renita (Robert), Suzanne (Greg); and grandsons Alex and Ethan. Donations can be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Saskatchewan.

Mr. William ‘Bill’ Mulhall

The graveside service for Mr. William ‘Bill’ Mulhall of Gull Lake, Saskatchewan, will be held on Monday, October 30, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. from the Gull Lake Cemetery.

Family and friends are invited to a luncheon at the Gull Lake Senior Centre following the interment from 2:30 p.m. until 4:30 p.m.

Laverne Palecek

Laverne Palecek (nee Illerbrun) was born in Gull Lake Saskatchewan on September 8th, 1928. On October 1st she passed away peacefully with loved ones by her side. Laverne was the 2nd eldest of 7 children, losing her only sister as an infant and her mother when she was only 12. Mom lived in a home on the farm with 5 brothers which toughened her up; she was a great ball player and played daily while attending Thring School; she also won the best female athlete in track and field not only in her 12 and under division but also in the senior girl’s division the same year.
