The private family interment will take place at Mount Pleasant Burial Park in Swift Current, Saskatchewan.

Jerry Alexander Bell

March 31, 1954 – February 26, 2023

It Is with profound sadness that the Bell and Mirka families announce the death of Jerry Bell, loving father, grandfather, companion, brother, and friend. After an extremely intense and immensely courageous battle with bone cancer, Jerry died peacefully on February 26th, at Cypress Regional Hospital in Swift Current SK with his closest friend and companion of 37 years at his side.

Mrs. Leone Newton

Leone Iris Newton passed away March 13, 2023 at the age of 100 years.

Mom was born on December 16, 1922 on a farm northwest of Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan in the community of Archydal.  She went to school there and later, from 1942 to 1945, she trained at the Moose Jaw General Hospital to become a registered nurse.  She then accepted a position at the Swift Current Union Hospital.

Roger Rouillet

Roger Rouillet passed away peacefully in his sleep on March 14, 2023, at the Willow Creek Manor.  Roger was born April 6, 1928 in Ponteix, SK.  Roger married Helene on July 6, 1960 and lived their life on the Rouillet Family Farm where they raised their family.  Dad will be missed by his 3 children: Mike (Lu Ann), Denis (Sandi), Monique (Keith); Grandchildren:  Chrystal (Sean), Kristina, Garry (Rebecca), Nikki (Kevin), Roger and Sophie; Great Grandchildren:  Riley, Knexin, Lukas & Dillon; and many nieces and nephews.  Dad was predeceased by his loving wife in January 2021, and predeceas

The funeral service for Mrs. Shirley Philp of Swift Current, Saskatchewan will be held on Friday, March 24, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. at First United Church with Rev. Annette Taylor officiating.

The private family interment will take place at Memory Gardens Cemetery in Swift Current, Saskatchewan.

Mrs. Marie Nodge

Marie Nodge died peacefully on March 8, 2023 at the age of 105 after a very happy and full life.  She was predeceased by her husband Paul in 1984, and her siblings Billy Case (Martha), Ralph Case (Eva), and Josephine Price (Bob).

Ray Steele

Ray Steele passed away peacefully on Sunday March 5th at the age of 84, at The Meadows in Swift Current. Ray was born on April 25th, 1938, in Barkerville B.C.  Ray married Helen (Dencker) on October 17th, 1961, in Lancer SK.  Ray was a loving devoted husband, father, and grandfather.  He is survived by his wife Helen and three sons: Jeff (Kelowna) and his wife Lee-Anne, and their two children: Corey, and Stacey; son Shawn (Saskatoon) and his three children: Matt, Carson, and Jayden; son Tommy (Ponteix) and his two children: Dakota, and Isabella.

Mr. George Friesen

The family of Mr. George Friesen of Swift Current, Saskatchewan are saddened to announce his passing on Sunday, March 5, 2023.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 8, 2023 from the Chapel of Warren’s Funeral Home from 7:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m.

Funeral arrangements are pending and will be announced at a later date.
