The celebration of life for Mr. Blaine Heebner of Swift Current, Saskatchewan and formerly of Vanguard, Saskatchewan will take place on Saturday September 30, 2023 at 2:00 pm from St. Olaf’s Lutheran Church with Pastor Patti Sherk officiating.

In memory of Blaine donations can be made to the charity of donor’s choice.

The funeral service for Mrs. Susie Grose will be held on Wednesday, September 27, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. from the Church of the Open Bible in Swift Current, Saskatchewan.

The internment will take place at the Schanzenfeld Cemetery in Wymark District, Saskatchewan, immediately following the service.

Jennie Theresa Fontaine (nee Grinder) was born on January 22, 1930 at the family farm in Neidpath, Saskatchewan.  She attended Neidpath School, Swift Current Collegiate and Business College.

Jennie worked as a stenographer until her marriage to Victor Fontaine.  They resided in Assiniboia, Saskatchewan for four years and then briefly in Ponteix, Saskatchewan.  In 1955 they moved to Swift Current, Saskatchewan where they raised their family.  The past six years of her life were spent in long-term care in Cabri, Saskatchewan.

Ross Abraham Ginter was born on April 7, 1995 at the Swift Current Union Hospital.

Ross leaves to mourn him: daughter Raylen Burkey-Ginter; mother Cheryl Lyne (Travis Nerada); sister Sabre Lyne (Mike Davis) and children Zander, Asher, Declan, and Maci; brother Angus Ginter; brother Max Ginter; sister Ara Lyn (Nick Lawrence) and daughter Everlynn; grandmother Rachel Lyne; auntie Dawn Johnson (Brad Johnson); and numerous cousins.  He was predeceased by his grandfather’s Calvin Lyne and Abe Ginter; grandmother Pat (Baumann) Haley; aunt Tracy Ginter.

Beverley Anne Seibel (nee Rae) broke free from the ravages of Parkinson’s disease just before 2:00 am on September 14, 2023, in Herbert, Saskatchewan.  Left crushed by her loss, but relieved that her suffering has ended are her dear husband, partner in crime, and caregiver, Roy, her daughters Natasha (Dwayne) and Anna (Darryl); her stepchildren Becky (Greg, daughters Sarah and Caitlin) and David (son Tyrone); her sister Jennifer (sons Mark and Mike); her sister-in-law Susan (daughters Lauren and Traci); and many beloved family members and friends.  Beverley was predeceased by her parents, A

The funeral service for Mr. Stanley Hughes of Abbey, SK will be held on Saturday, September 16, 2023 at 2:00 PM from the St. Olaf Lutheran Church with Pastor Greg Kiel officiating.

The interment service for Mr. Stanley Hughes will take place at the Hillcrest Cemetery in Swift Current, Saskatchewan.

Our beloved Tina Michelle Brezinski, daughter, sister, aunt, and friend, passed away on Sept. 1, 2023, after a short, intense battle with stage 4 lung cancer, first diagnosed at the beginning of April. Tina was born in Swift Current, 1966, she went to public school at Fairview, Beatty, and the Comp until Grade 11. She graduated after one year at LCBI in Outlook, SK, followed by an Executive Secretarial Course in Saskatoon. She resided in Regina, Saskatoon and Nipawin before returning to Swift Current in 2021.
