Winnipeg Police investigate homicide after man found unresponsive in downtown area
Winnipeg Police are busy Sunday investigating the city's latest homicide.
At around 6:45 a.m., a bystander located an unresponsive male on the ground near Sherbrook Street and Cumberland Avenue. An ambulance was called, and the male was transported to the Health Sciences Centre.
At 7:56 a.m., the Winnipeg Police Service was notified of a deceased adult male at the Health Sciences Centre with suspicious injuries.
His death has since been determined to be a homicide.
