64 charges for suspects behind bank robbery & ATM theft spree
RCMP have apprehended the alleged culprits behind multiple attempted thefts, ATM thefts, and a bank robbery.
Sheena Benoit and Joshua Meszaros, of Biggar, were arrested on February 5, 2025, and charged in relation to a bank robbery in Landis on November 22, 2024. Jeremy Seery, of Rosetown, who was arrested later on February 12, 2025, faces charges for the same offences.

Joshua Elliot Moose was taken into custody in White City on October 31, 2024, by the RCMP Southern Alberta Crime Reduction Unit, with assistance from the RCMP Regina General Investigation Section.
The 25-year-old has broken into Tim Hortons locations in Swift Current, Maple Creek, Kindersley, Saskatoon, and Indian Head.

Southwest Saskatchewan residents are having their voices heard regarding potential border crossing changes to hours of operation.
Cypress Hills Grasslands MP, Jeremy Patzer, has been reading petitions in the House of Commons on behalf of his constituents after a whistleblower sounded the alarm on the possible reduction of hours or even closure of border crossings in his riding.
Since first meeting with the whistleblower back in August, Patzer has been working to uncover more information, and bringing this problem to light in Ottawa.
New rink ready to spring up in Stewart Valley
Progress is being made in Stewart Valley on the new sporting grounds.
Yesterday, members of the Stinger Strong Community Fund came out to accept a donation from Richardson Pioneer of $15,000.
That money is going towards concrete for the new outdoor rink at the sporting grounds, which are located, funnily enough, at the site of the former sporting grounds on the north end of the town.

The Town of Cabri is going to have its first-ever woman elected to the Mayoral seat.
Norma Pederson has been acclaimed as the Mayor of Cabri and is the first woman ever to lead the government of the town in its 112-year history.
Pederson for her part is immensely grateful for the chance to lead her community in the upcoming term.
"I just think it's a complete honour," said Pederson. "I look forward to what the next four years will bring."
