ENDED: Severe thunderstorm moving quick towards Dryden
At 8:23 a.m. CDT, Environment Canada meteorologists are tracking a severe thunderstorm capable of producing up to toonie-sized hail and heavy rain.
This severe thunderstorm is located 14 kilometres south of Lost Lake, moving north at 40 km/h.
Hazard: Toonie size hail.
Locations impacted include:
Eagle Lake and Lost Lake.
Federal COVID-19 vaccine mandates to be suspended for domestic, outbound travellers
Transport Minister Omar Alghabra says the Canadian government will suspend COVID-19 vaccine mandates for domestic and outbound international travellers and federally regulated workers.
The new rules will come into effect on June 20, though the requirements for foreign nationals coming to Canada will not change.
Intergovernmental affairs Minister Dominic LeBlanc warns the government is prepared to "bring back" necessary policies if there's a resurgence of the virus in the fall.

Environment Canada has issued a severe thunderstorm watch for Kenora, Grassy Narrows, White Dog, Sioux Narrows, Nestor Falls and Morson.
Conditions are favourable for the development of thunderstorms that may be capable of producing hail and locally heavy rain early this morning.
Major construction set to begin in Kenora today
Kenora summer construction is set to begin today!
The City of Kenora would like to advise the public that Titan Contractors (Kenora)Ltd. will be completing surface, water, and sanitary sewer works on Second Street South from Fifth Avenue South to Seventh Avenue South starting today and lasting until August 26.
This section of Second Street South will be closed during the construction activities, traffic detours will be in place.

This year has been one of the worst years of flooding in Kenora’s history, many residents in the region have faced property damage due to the rising water levels. Many families are facing serious financial hardship once the water level lowers.
Ministry puts out two-day fire north of Kenora
Crews with the Ministry of Northern Development, Mines, Natural Resources and Forestry joined firefighters from Pellatt to put out an over 4-hectare fire over the weekend near Kenora.
Kenora Fire #2 was reported late Friday afternoon near Ripple Lake, about 15 km northwest of Kenora. Ministry crews responded alongside firefighters from Pellatt United, as well as an air attack crew with a bird dog aircraft and two waterbombers.
Fire Information Officer Chris Marchand says the fire was eventually put out Sunday at a final size of 4.3 hectares.
Lake of the Woods up slightly
Lake of the Woods rose by 6 cm (2.5 in) over the past week and now sits at 324.03 m (1063.1 ft), which is over 95th percentile level for this time of year.
The lake is expected to peak by the end of June followed by a gradual drop.
It's still possible for Lake of the Woods to reach the record level that was set back in July of 1950 at 324.31 m (1064.0 ft).
The Winnipeg River level rise over the next 7 days below Norman Dam is expected to be 3-6 cm (1-2 in) with less rise further downstream from Kenora, reaching 1-2 cm (1 in) at Minaki.
