International Women's Day is this Friday, March 8th – the perfect day for Agape House to host its annual Purple Gala.  

“The Purple Gala is an amazing opportunity to bring together our community, celebrate the resilience of women, and raise funds for our essential services.” 

Agape House provides a safe space and 24/7 support to those experiencing domestic violence in southeastern Manitoba.

The family entertainment business is making a comeback, and two brothers want to get in on the action early. 

Andrew and Trevor Rempel have converted a 3,800 square-foot space in the Altona Mall to create The Warehouse, a family entertainment centre (FEC) filled with arcade games and more.

On March 1st, the beloved Muscle Matters name will be no more. But fans of the spa-like wellness studio can rest assured knowing they’re still here – with a beautiful new look and name! 

Owner Lindsay Penner explains, “The name Muscle Matters was great when we were solely a massage therapy business. But we’ve grown and by now there are just as many people on the esthetic side as there are in massage. I realized our name needed to grow too. Our new name, Embody Wellness Studio and Clinic, pulls it all together.”
